In 2016, after freelancing my way through college I saw a need for transparent web design & development services, primarily in the non-profit space. I wanted to create a team that would be passionate about solving unique digital problems with holistic solutions that would last and cultivate true growth for our clients. The last thing I wanted to do was digital band-aid my way to solutions. This approach to service has led to several years of success & great opportunities with awesome organizations like the University of Texas, Houston Community College, tech startups, enterprises & several niche industry leaders. To present day, I operate TXCAP Studio, with the help of a great team and my wife to provide goal-oriented & purposeful UX Design & WordPress Development services for a wide range of dynamic clients. Our goal is to become an integrated part of our clients' businesses so we can take ownership in digital products and provide services that bring value and growth to the organizations we serve. Our team has been involved in over 200 projects that include varying levels of web & UX design, web development, project management, digital strategy and marketing.
Inspiration
From a design perspective, I draw a lot of inspiration from the symmetry of the natural world. So many things in nature seem random, but I find beauty in the way everything around us seems to prefer symmetry. I apply that inspiration to each project and those same principles to my engineering methodologies to craft experiences with the goal of allowing users to interact & engage in intuitive ways.
Personal
I won’t keep you too long, so to be short & sweet – my story revolves around my family & my faith. I have a precious (and absolutely wild) 3yr old daughter, Everly, and the most amazing woman, Kara, in my life. On any given day, they make it a great one. When I'm looking for inspiration or a day off, you can usually find me by some water with a rod & reel in my hand.
